Synchronising sound with TV recording
« on: April 02, 2005, 10:41:04 am »

Hi There,

I am really struggling to synchronise sound and TV images when recording from TV, using MC 10. I'm wanting to use the DivX codec to get the best file size, but even with the JR Codec, I'm having issues.

The problem is directly related to the codecs that I choose.

Which codecs can I choose to record with the minimum amount of time delay, or equal delay!? ;-)

I'd be grateful to hear any other suggestions.

Many thanks.

P.

Here are just a couple of suggestions. I am not sure how they will work.

1. Try using a different audio compressor, or use no audio compressor, with DivX video compressor.

2. Try play with DivX configuration.

It is difficult for me to suggest anything new since I can not reproduce the problem. Hope someone who uses similar devices can chip in on this.
