It looks like you have to be a member to play streams there.

This won't be addressed before MC11 is released.

no i dont have to because i play the stream on winamp instead.  Rread this its from their FAQ:
Quote
Why Windows Media Player does not work?

Let's face it all the methods laid out below do not improve WMP's work. It has the following problems. some more or less severe:

    * 'File not found / network location can't be opened / etc.':
sometimes it displayes error messages like that. we have no idea what that means, it is not our fault. there is no fix, this problem happens irregular, but if you have it you are likely to have it a lot. try changing firewall settings maybe.
    * Track info going out of sync / takes ages to skip a track:
see below for the reasons. WMP buffers too much of the stream. You can try the solutions described below but our experience is that it does not help as WMP seems to conveniently ignore the buffer setting. This problem is severe, can't really be fixed.

Only real solution for all the above: Install Winamp

Pink Waters, as you suggested I tried to play the stream from LiveFM,
it worked for me . . . . . so I don't know what the issue is on your end, but in light of it playing here I suspect it is not an MC issue.
i ment last.fm not liveFM, if you tried it will work sometimes and somtimes it won't and i dont know why!

I also got some problem streaming some stations.

This works in WMP but not in Media Center. I've started a thread yesterday on this and edbro also has the same problem streaming this.

I haven't really encountered any mp3 stream but I know that MC works fine with Real Audio stream. But I would presume that MC should work just fine with Windows Media too. I listen to that station quite often and it is kinda awkard to have to open up WMP just to play it. *yuccckkkk* :P

Hopefully they can sorta fix this problem fast. =)
