a 'consolidate library' feature in media center?
« on: June 10, 2005, 07:26:20 pm »

i was wondering if media center has a feature similar to the 'consolidate library' feature in iTunes. It basically just renames all files according to their tag. It also keeps itself up to date (i.e. when you edit the tag, it automatically edits the name of the file) Is it possible to do this type of thing in media center?

Thanks.

You can do the renaming of the files...

Highlite the files,
Right Click
Library Tools
Rename Files From Properties

the automatic stuff that you mention cant be done at the moment, but is something I would love to see in v12. even if it isnt done live, but on a scheduled basis, I'd be happy.
