Just upgraded to 11, and found that one of my key startup options had been changed.

I most often play Internet radio with MC, and have a number of Playlists set up which take me directly to the various 'stations'. I used to be able to set the options so I could open MC with Playlist tree expanded, giving me convenient remote access to the stations. This no longer seems to be possible, nor is there an option (that I can find) to reopen MC in the same configuration in which it was closed.

I would have thought that the Remember Media Mode checkbox on Startup Options would at least have done the latter, but it doesn't seem to. In the Location drop list, Playlists does not appear. Can this be fixed, or is there another way to do what I want? Thanks for your help.

Found the Last Exit view as well, but it doesn't actually work either.

Started playing around a little with Theater/Hairstyle view. It would be really cool if I could get a Hairstyle going which comes up with the Playlists listed (not the first screen of all the options), and would then play them with a single click (not the list of Open, Play, etc. that comes up now.

I'm working on family acceptance factor here. I've read through the Hairstyle "instructions", but not being an XML programmer, I'm pretty much at a loss.

  Grr. I realize that it's new release time and all, but with the forums being the ONLY support offered for Media Center, I'd appreciate at least an acknowledgement from someone at MC about the 'backward progress' in startup options in version 11!

I can no longer open MC with Web Media showing.

I can no longer open MC with my Playlists tree open and showing.

I can no longer set up the view I want, and have MC open looking the same next time.

This is progress?

I use the split view (2) and would love to be able to tell MC to start the top in 1 location and the bottom in another
