I know this is digging up an old thread, but I have 1 question about this plugin - am i missing something, or does every track / album / genre have to be added manually? ie: when new albums are added to the database, they DONT automatically play with the correct EQ setting?

Manually, yes; individually, no.  Using your "EQ" library field, you can sort for unfilled fields, and globally copy/paste the proper preset in.

HOWEVER . . .

If you have a global setting, this is best done through the EQ in the DSP studio.  EQdb is for individual or group-specific settings which you would otherwise have to keep nuggying the MC EQ to implement.  For example, 90's dance music (Pulse), some trance and a couple of Moby songs (sorry), all get their bass reduced considerably, so that listening is (for me) an enjoyable experience.
