AAC Files Not Liking Certain Audiocards?
« on: November 20, 2005, 04:50:52 pm »

I can't get AAC files to play on MC when using my Revolution 7.1.  The files play fine when using iTunes, however.
When I switch to the integrated audiocard on my motherboard, MC plays AAC files fine; I've checked and it doesn't matter which one is designated the default soundcard.  Is there something I'm missing?

MC uses the Quicktime engine to play Apple's content.  This probably won't work with MC's ASIO out playback setting.

I wasn't using ASIO... mostly because I couldn't get the Revolution to output ASIO using the coaxial jack.  I was using direct sound.
