I think there's almost no chance the disks are all bad.

Try slowing down the burn. 

Try burning one or two audio files (to test).

Check your burn settings.

I could only burn an audio CD if it's at 1X - not a very handy speed. I'll keep checking what would be the "max" speed with the media I have now.
