Problems with DSP Replay Gain and Burninig
« on: January 25, 2006, 07:52:25 am »

Hi, I'm Having a problem with media center 11 (so far any version)

If I have analysed my mp3 files and then burn them to disk and have the dsp option replay gain ticked with album based mode and automatic adjustment. I end up with a blank cd (it has tracks but no sound).

If I go back into the DSP (cd burning settings) after a burn and look they are set to strange results such as Replay gain for current track +100db.  Automatic base current playlist +3211.3 db and Total Volume Change +3311.3db.   If I change it to say fixed mode it works.

If have tried several different media. I have tried it on 3 PC's. Nothing works. If I go back to Media Center 10, all is fine!!

Can you help. I like to use this feature and do not really want to be stuck on version 10

Below is one of my PC's Specs

Please try the next build. The problem was due to album gain not being supported correctly in the burning engine. Let us know if you have any further problems.

Thanks!
