Manually setting the width of a column in the top panel
« on: February 20, 2006, 06:48:10 pm »

How do I set the width of a column in a top panel?

In Tools/Options/Tree & view, I UNchecked 'List/Auto size columns', 'Tree\Auto size width' and 'Advanced\Allow auto size to cut off long values'.

However, I am unable to manually set the width that I want. When I place the selection cursor between the title tiles of the columns of the top panel, it does not change into the prompt to play with the width (unlike when I do the same thing on the bottom panel). When I click on the title tile, I get a popup meny with 'Edit view scheme' being the only choice.

I am sure that I am missing something simple enough, but it would be a great help if someone could point out to me what it is.

Thanks,

W.

By Top panel, do you mean the Panes? ie Were it lists the Artist and Albums?

If so, these are not adjustable.
They should automatically adjust depending on what is being displayed.
