OT: IRMan

Of the people that have bought an IRMan,
how long have you had to wait for it?
Does the company reply to emails much?
I ordered mine well over 3 weeks ago now, and theres
no sign of it.
I sent them an email last week but no reply  :(

I'm quite intrigued by your Nokia set up.
I know for my 5510 the data cable is just a serial cable, and the phone
has an IR send/recieve gizmo.

Do you just use something like Girder to detect the remote signals?
Or is there something clever on that model that gives you messages or something?  :)

No, I use a bluetooth connection between the phone and the pc, and I bought a good software that has a part as a software installed on the pc and another part as a software installed on the phone and you can add and write keymaps to any software you want, with the addition of some other good jscript maps that enables you to use the phone as a mouse (you can get the screen on the phone) and control power point and for itunes (it enables you to browse the library on the phone itself and use it instead of the pc at all :) )
I hope someone can propose to write another java script addin for that software for MC though :/

The software is called Bluetooth Remote Control
