I'm often using the possibility to edit the tags in Media Center; but there's a big difference in behavior between the Artist and Name columns.
When I click on an Artist, then press F2 and then start typing, Media Center "remebers" the old content and fills the Artist when the original name. Very handy to change the case! But, when I do the same on the Name column, nothing happens! So, if a want to change the name from "Bright Eyes" into "Bright eyes", I have to type the whole name. In earlier versions of Media Center the behavior of the Artist and Name-columns where the same.

Please, please change the behavior of the Name column into the same behavior as the Artist column! Thank you!

This is by design.

Generally auto-complete isn't too useful for name since each file has a unique name.

Pehaps I'm not clear enough, but the NAME column is not the name of the file, but the TITLE of the song!

Correct, by design there is no auto-complete for "Filename" or "Name".

Rien van Ham, slight tangent, but are you aware of the Clean File Properties available from
Library Tools?
It can fix capitalisation of things for you.
