If Playing now is empty, the sentence "no files -- double-click here to play the entire library" appears.

If you double click on it, MC shows the files protected in "Access control". I think this is an important bug and must be corrected in MC 11.

Note that the files won't play even if they do show up.

MC checks the Access Filter before allowing a file to play. It will simply skip any Access Filtered files that do make their way into Playing Now. (like from an external drag-n-drop)
