Snycing and transfers

After I reacquired my device (options > detect), the device no longer synchs upon connection.  Also, when I manually click and drag, I get the following error: "None of the tracks can be transferred.  Common errors include insufficient rights or unsupported files."

I can't get any podcasts to my device for some reason.
