MC11 crashed when remoted by Remote Server v1.5
« on: August 14, 2006, 12:12:05 pm »

Hi there,

I was using MC9 for nealry two years now without any problems. Now I had to intall a new system on my HTPC. And since I cannot find MC9 and my MC9-license, I using MC11 now.

Havenīt seen too much differences, BUT: I use the bulid in Remote Server v1.5 to use my HTPC as a jukebox. MC11 crashes every now and then, when it is accessed by the remote server.

Can you pls provide a bugfix?

In the mean time you could be so kind and find my MC9 license? And provide me MC9 unitl you found the bug?

Rgds,

I don't think what you describe is a MC11 bug.

From the FAQ here--
A copy of MC 9.1 can be found here:
ftp://ftp.jriver.com/pub/downloads/music/old/MediaCenter91319.exe

You can have the system e-mail you a license if you visit the restore page here:

This is definately a bug

Matt even built a version 1.6, but it was not included in the latest relase of MC (according to the change log)

It fixed a lot of random crashes I had at that time.
