I use the People tag for audio files - this doesn't seem to be available through the field choices for the AW tagging view. Is this now no longer possible? Does v12 'not allow' audio files to use the People tag? (I realise that I can still do it using panes...)

This is one of my biggest complaints about the new system.  I know you also just posted over there, but I'd suggest you add this post to Larry's thread of Tag Editor observations instead.

It's there.   I use it on every song also.
Highlight a song and open up TAG in the action window.
Click the "tools" icon in the upper left corner of the TAG window (opposite the X close button).
Click on "other tags"
Choose "people".
repeat for any others you want.

Not there for me either, and I also use [people] for audio on occasion. It's how I keep track of who's borrowed what!!

Also, [people] is not available in the column picker we get when we right click on a column header, but if you go into 'customise current view' and choose 'Add>Field>' it is available in that list.

To my mind, these field lists should be constant wherever they're presented.

Not sure why you guys aren't seeing it.
I can add the People field to customize current view and also to the tag editor window.
You need to click that "tools" button in the upper left corner of the tag editor window, to the left of the word TAG.
Click on "other tags"
Choose "people".
As you can see, I've added People and Keywords, which aren't standard audio tags.
