MC cannot find all files, WMP does

I have a lot of WMA and MP3 files on my PC.

WMP v10 finds 70.000 files (autosearch and import). However, MC only finds some 61.000 ... Why does MC not find the other 9.000 ?

Files are WMA, MP3, nothing special, no video's, only music.

Do you have the advanced import option "Exclude files previously removed from library" unselected? If yes, can you find anything common with the missing files? Did you try to make a new clean library before importing?

It happened after new install on new PC. I did not utilised WMP before, but now I tried the version 10 and noticed the (huge) difference in files between my fav MC and Windows WMP.

So the library is clean.

I've not yet tried to figure out which files are missing (70.000 entries is a lot to compare). Is there a way to do this quick and simple? Other things I can check?
