i want to add a new column
« on: September 15, 2006, 12:03:38 pm »

hi.
i want to add a new column to one of my views. i did this a few years ago, but now i can't remember how, and i've also forgotten what this feature is called in MC, which makes it even harder for me to find. to be more precise: to my classical music view i want to add a "movement" tag/column, and i also want to keep it in that view. could someone please help me?

cheers,
ole k,

Tools --> Options --> Library is what you need.  Click Add and I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Then, to add it to the visible columns in your Classical view scheme, right click in the details pane and choose Customize Current View

This post was very timely for me. I also had done this before and was in the process trying to remember it myself. Thanks, glynor

perhaps this means that it would be a good idea to add this feature in the help function when one is doing a keyword or search for "customize"?
