Libary not updating
« on: October 03, 2006, 11:25:28 pm »

I have been re-ripping some of my old CD's to MP3 320, and the ripping process is overwritting the files fine because I'm using the same methods as before but the library now has duplicates showing the old 128bit versions of the files that no longer exist. It's actually playing the 320 versions when I play them but in the status bar and even in JDnet's playing now they are showing as the 128 version. I am using the watch folder option, but the folder is not being watched very well :( I have played these files over days, and browsed around them and the library is not auto updating. Is the watch this folder supposed to do this or only watch for new files? Is there way to have to do a quick refresh without having to rebuild the whole library? Thx  ;D

Do an 'update library from tags' on those items.  See if that fixes the problem.
