Is Datamaster putting files on my harddrive somewhere?
No
But this is where on the server they will be
So Bios Should Not Be Saved Under
"\Artist\Album\Name\" Fields Since If You Did Not Have That Song You Would Never See the Bios. Bios Is A "Artist" Specific Field. So As Long As You Had A Song From That Artist You Can get The Bios.
Lyrics Could Be Done By "\Artist\Album\Name\" Or "\Artist\Name\"
Lyrics For The Most Part Would be The Same From One Album To The Next Unless It Was A Remix Of Some Sort. So If You Uploaded Lyrics To "\Artist\Album\Name\" Users With The Same Song And Not The Same Album Could Not Get The Lyrics. So The Default Is "\Artist\Name\"
The Plug-In Will Create A Upload Paths Using Your Field Information
"Artist\Album\Name\" Selection For "Lyrics" Field Would be Something Like
I:\FTP\Datamaster\ArtistAlbumName\Lyrics\Beatles\Number1\Help\Doof - (User ID#)
"\Artist\Name\" Selection Would be Something Like
I:\FTP\Datamaster\ArtistName\Lyrics\Beatles\Help\Doof - (User ID#)
Basically The Selection Would How You Feel The Data Should be Categorized.
You Would Not Want To Take 100 Files Select Lyrics And Save It To Artist or This Would Happen
File #1
I:\FTP\Datamaster\Artist\Lyrics\Beatles\Doof - (User ID#)
File #2
I:\FTP\Datamaster\Artist\Lyrics\Beatles\Doof - (User ID#)
As You Can See File #2 Will Overwrite File #1, You Would Need Something To Id One File From the Other, Adding Field "Name", And Maybe Album Would Make Sure Lyrics Will Get To the Correct Folder.
Maybe This Could Be Explained better, If You Have Some Text To Explain This (Or Anyone Else) I Will be Happy To Include It In The Help File (That I Am Working On).
