OT: Whats your latest band/artist discovery?

3 Doors Down for me.

Heard a couple of hits on the radio now and then but, although I liked the songs (kryptonite & not enough for instance) they sounded like 'exceptions' if you know what I mean. Borrowed a cd of a collegue a couple a weeks ago and it quickly became one of my favorites. By now I bought three of their albums and its here to stay.

Before that one I found Alison Krauss & Union Station because I saw Dan Timinsky & Ron Block on Clapton's Guitar Festival. Loved it, googled some and found out about Alison and friends. I ordered their Live DVD and simply love it. Got most of their albums now.

And these two immediately show the diversity of music I love :)

So whats your new discovery?

My "latest discovery" would be Burning Spear, the roots reggae great.  Not exactly a new artist, but better late than never.

Check out Corinne Bailey Rae...musical guest on Saturday Night Live two weeks ago.  I am also a fan of Alison Krauss & Union Station.
