Handheld Cache
« on: November 07, 2006, 02:41:36 am »

Under certain conditions there are strange effects when encoding to the handheld cache.

Filenames:
"J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton - 2006 - The Road to Escondido - 01 - Danger.ape"
"J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton - 2006 - The Road to Escondido - 02 - Heads in Geaorgia.ape"
...
"J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton - 2006 - The Road to Escondido - 14 - Ride the River.ape"

Only the first file is encoded to MP3 and the filename is drastically truncated.
Then this MP3 is uploaded to my iPod 14 times, with the correct titles and lenghts, but always (parts) of the first title.

I think parsing of the filename goes wrong because of the dots in "J.J. Cale"

Can I get the full path (and filename) for the cache file?

The complete path of the converted file is

"C:\JRHHCache\J.J. Cale & Eric Clapton\The Road to Escondido\J.J.mp3"

It is loaded to the iPod and finally, when the upload is done, it is deleted.
The empty folder stays on the harddisk.

Should be fixed in the next build.
