Suggestion: Tagging List Fields
« on: November 15, 2006, 01:06:24 am »

Please add an ability to tick list entries in the tagging AW using the keyboard. This will allow us to check multiple entries without switching to the mouse for each entry. I suggest the "Enter" key.

Just try using the list once you get above a few hundred entries. It becomes just a tad unusable to scroll down, find an entry tick then repeat. I'd like to type a few letters (so that MC focuses on the correct entry as I type) press enter (to tick the entry) then repeat for other entries.

Please ~ this shouldn't be too hard to put in and would save me (and I'm sure many others as well) heaps of time when tagging. It will please both the "Clickers" and the "Typers".

the windows default for this is the space bar.

Yeah I know :-\

But what if one of my list entries is "Bob Smith" (has a space). If I type that in I might inadvertently tick "Bob Arnold", as typing the space will register as an activator.
