Distorted Shoutcast Streams

Has anyone tuned in lately and heard how awful the high end "whooping" distortion is on Shoutcast streams?  This problem also shows up in the QCD player, but not in Winamp or Sonique.  Understand the issue is with the new Shoutcast server, but will MJB v.9 address this problem?  If you don't believe me, tune in:
