I have noticed that when I sync my Ipod video with MC 12.0.130, it changes all the Artist names where I have moved the word "The" to then end of the name. E.g. "Beatles, The" ends up on the Ipod beeing "The Beatles". MC 11.1.201 does not do this.

Is it me doing something wrong or is this a bug in MV 12?

This is by design.  It should sort properly.

Let us know if that's a big problem.

It is a problem!

Because the Artist name is changed during sync (i.e. "Beatles, The" is changed to "The Beatles") MC will try to sync the same files again during the next sync, because it cannot find the artist "Beatles, The" on the Ipod.

I have used your excellent "Clean File Properties", so that I wouldn't have 500 or more artist starting with the word "The". This is a great feature, so why would you want to undo that when you transfer the files to the Ipod?
