Last.fm plug-in not uploading every song

Why does the last.fm plug-in only upload every third song? Its not loading up everything I listen to.
Also is there a way to make it upload the songs I listen to on my iPod?

There are logfiles, the path is shown in the settings of last.fm. Have a look in them and see what it says.

Most likely the database is too busy. This post might help.
