Audio analysis silent tracks
« on: April 02, 2007, 12:14:46 pm »

I have quite a number of silent tracks in my library (songs that artists put before a final 'surprise' track).
Audio analysis cannot analyse this tracks and after a few errors the process stops.
Is there a way to skip these songs automatically from audio analysis?

Put them in a playlist "Silent Tracks"

Then search for -[Playlist]="Silent Tracks" and only analyze the hits.

Thanks! I created a playlist named 'No silent tracks' and excluded all songs with BPM=0.
That did the trick as well.

I have a few of these, and also very short "sample" tracks, that do not analyse.  If there a way of manually adding in a value so that they will not show up in the "need audio analysing" smartlist?

Thanks
