I just noticed half of my VFD display is significantly darker than the rest.
So I'm looking to buy an affordable standalone (prefferably) VFD display, wich I can attach directly to my motherboard with cables (belive that is how it works). I'm going to get a Gyration remote soon, so I just need the display.

The problem is that it looks like I have to buy a friggin HTPC cabinet to get it. I already have that! A Accent HT-400 by the way. Need a 16x2 character VFD display I think. Might fit with a slightly wider one too.
I would like a cabinet with a full LCD display, but that's in the far future as most of the cabinets are very expensive. So for now I have to fill the black hole in my Accent cabinet.

Any suggestions?
