i am not sure, but i seem to recall that version 7.0 allowed you to specify what folder on your drive you wanted mj to search, and this worked fine for me, as all my downloaded mp3s were in c/my music, and specifying that folder stopped mj importing all sorts of other junk such as beeps, whistles and ads bundled with iother donloaded applications.
now, however i cant seem to specify the folder i want mj to search, it just wants to search all of c, and what is worse, when it gets to a certain folder, it seems to get stuck therer and wont move on. a diagnostic profram i have called stayalive2002 tells me that mj is not responding, so something is definitely going wrong, but i dont know how to fix it. i have waited by the screen for a good 45 minutes once the searh reaches the folder it always sticks on, and it never moved on, so i dont think i am being impatient. any ideas, anyone? thanks.
