I like the new Theater View. Don't use it much though although lately I'm getting in to it more. The way everything moves hasn't changed much; whipping around when you scroll. Combine this with rotating cubes and a sliding background. This makes my wife dizzy and my father sick to his stomach. Ironic that so much effort has lately been put into TV to make it accessible for people less familiar with computers.
I don't necessarily mind the way icons and text float around, and zoom in & out of sight, but their perspective made me realize, "How useful is this?" I found it strange that these two people were instantly turned off by it, and so adversely affected by it.
I just thought I'd mention my experience with others' perception of Theater View because I was honestly surprised at their strong reaction. I think that in Details mode the effect may be lessened whereas with Tiles and the like, it is amplified; this is mere speculation.
