RS232

Is it possible to send out commands from MC to a preamplifier using RS232 protocols? For instance, to change volume control.

If you've got coding skills You could write a plugin using the interface SDK
that listens for events such as volume changing, and then do some sort of outputs to serial comms.

I'll take that as a no.  ;D I barely have writing skills. Other than Cinemar (which I demo-ed and didn't like) are there other front end programs that utilize MC?

girder can probably do that.  NetRemote works as a front-end.   Both are at www.promixis.com .
