I bought a mobile WD hard drive and would like not only my media files but also the JR Media Center 11 programme to work off that, so I am completely mobile with that installation (granted, it probably needs Windows registry amendments on which ever PC I'd run it on). Mainly I want to have the same installation at work that I have at home without constantly restoring library backups, etc. It has been annoying to do ratings at work and then not have them at home and vice versus. That is why I bought the drive, so now I have only one spot from which I operate all my media files and programmes.

The installation seems to default to \program files and the settings files are off \documents and settings. Is there a way to change those locations and have the programme with all it's auxilary files run off a mobile d: drive (for example)?

I'd appreciate pointers or help.
