Analog to Digital
« on: October 30, 2007, 05:33:44 pm »

I am gonna get myself a high-end record player. Records still sound better then CD's and I want to be able to play my old records again.

Because for practical reasons I also want them in digital format. I have a professional EMU 1212m soundcard to convert from analog to digital. Now I'm looking for  a way to indicate in Media Center that certain songs are converted from LP's.
I have the original CD's of about 95% of my music. For the other 5% I would also like to have some sort of indication that's it bought, copied or whatever.

Is this possible ?

Tools > Options > Library & Folders > User Library Fields > "Add Field"

This will allow you to add whatever custom fields you like.

Thanks, is the information kept within the audio files. My database keeps on corrupting, don't know why.

that is an option in the tag setup screen, your choice - in the tags or in the DB. Nice to have flexibility.  ;)
