Zevile

Thank you very much and Mazal Tov to you too.

I guess my first experience with the term Mozal Tov was from the movie Fiddler on the Roof which we enjoyed seeing several times.

How many generations around one table? Well, three generations results in 13 persons and we don't have that big a table. Four generations totals 17. So I guess for one table we can only seat two generations - Eunice and me and our four kids. The oldest is aged 55, the youngest aged 39. Our youngest and only great granchild is two.

So when a fellow looks into his girl's eyes and says, "I love you," you never know what the result will be.

In few months we will be able 'to seat' 4 generations around the table.

Not bad if you think that 'the Patriarch' his only 75 years old or 76 ,not sure

Holden,

Never got the chance to say (Congratulations!!) in the first post. Wish you yours many more. It is quite a feat to look forward to in my case.

zevele,

Thank you, MachineHead, and I wish you success in being able to duplicate and surpass our 58 years together.

Zevele, where do you fit into the picture of the four generations you anticipate being completed in a few months?

Congratulations from me, too, Holden. I'm 22 years married and still counting so I'm right behind you. No grandchildren, yet. (Knock very loudly on wood --- my oldest is 19)

"So when a fellow looks into his girl's eyes and says, "I love you," you never know what the result will be."

I had a pretty good idea. So did you, I'll bet.

Yes, I guess I did have some idea of what would happen - ha ha.

Many thanks to you too Charlemagne 8. You'll find the next 22 - or 44 years - will seem to go much faster than the first 22. In our case I find it hard to realize it's 58 years. All the best...

Holden,

I also missed the opportunity to wish you a timely happy anniversary.   I hope that you and your bride celebrate many more joyful anniversaries together.

in fact my sister will be a young grand-mother at 49 years old

And my brother at 47 can be grand-dad at anytime.

writing it i see they do not freak out as i did and started fast real life.

Me, no wife no kid and started real life just before 30 years old.....
