What version of MJ do you have?

What browser are you using?

Make sure you have permissions on your OS to install software.

Using IE, visit this page:

http://www.musicex.com/cgi-bin/downloads/plugins.pl?type=7&start=0&end=10&page=1

and click on download for the MP3 encoder.

Exactly what happens next?

Will someone else confirm that this works, please?

Thanks.

It's pretty good (how did you know? hehe). Everything is starting to return to normal. Haven't taken any pain killers yet. Plan on going to work tomorrow.

I tried that and when I click on download MP3 encoder I get the following error message:

Invalid package file.  Cannot continue.

All of the problems started when I download the latest version of MJ.  I was ripping and encoding my little heart out when I was using version 7 - Plus

Invalid package means your browser doesn't understand what the .mjp file is.  It describes for MJ what to do next.

What ISP do you use?  What version of IE?

If you're using IE 5.0 or above, I don't understand it.

A work around: right click on the download link and do "save as" to save the .mjp file on your PC.  Then try executing it.  Tell us exactly what happens.
