i would like to use two different pages with track info (html). i think i can not do that with mcc commands, so i tried it using accesskey in the html document, which works when opening the page in ie, but not if the page is used by mc. clicking the link in mc works though.

as a test i put this in the index of the simple track info:

<A accesskey="C" href= "http://wiki.jrmediacenter.com/">wiki</A>alt + C followed by enter opens the link as expected in ie, not mc.

i want to get this working so i can use the remote to switch between some different track info's. does somebody have an idea what i do wrong. or maybe an other (better) solution?

the reason i would like something like that to work is, i have one page which shows the general information from the now playing track. i have a second page which shows things like the musicians on the track, the composer etc. using a clickable link is easy, but using a remote seems impossible. the accesskey method seems nice, and works with browsers.

ok... bad idea.
how about an option to make two templates with info, where you could switch between the two in some fancy movement. like now with pictures. and also the option to use these templates for pictures and movies. there should be some way to get all the info in the database you want to see on screen starting from the song that is playing, picture/movie beeing watched.

altough im talking to myself, i want to tell that i more or less succeded to accomplish this.
takes some custom calculated library fields, some programming inside mc to send those fields to girder, and a fight with the osd from girder, and what gets focus mc Theater View or the osd from girder.
and it is not that it looks great...
but it reacts to a command from my remote 
and the finetuning time still has to start.

still hope that some day this info will be easely available from within mc

just a small hint... you can use the new trackinfo-template from xpTunes too (but i'm not sure if it will work with a remote).
