HD Video Camera Support
« on: May 08, 2008, 07:52:20 am »

I just purchased a Canon VIXIA HF 100 (HD video camera) and have been learning to shoot video.  This camera stores video in M2TS format, AVC encoded.  It also takes stills.

WHen I connect it up. MC finds the camera just fine and pulls down the stills, but MC doesn't seem to handle the video in the same manner.

Is this simply not supported?  Or is there something I'm missing?

This may be the WIA import problem that Swellguy recently fixed.  Try a search.  I think the fix is in 493 or 494.
