The formerly J. Dickson plugin supposedly runs in a separate thread from MC. However, while uploading and using a lot of my bandwith I notice some stalls and freezes of playback as the PlayingNow plugin attempts to send to FTP. My router allows me to browse the internet even if all upload bandwidth is being utilized, and while I can dig into the settings and allow ftp more priority, this plugin seems to be acting strangely. Right after I disabled the plugin, my video file started instantly. Playback and the PlayingNow plugin should be properly separated & disentangled because there will be times that bandwidth will be challenged beyond the user's control.
