Is there a valid reason why MC would act slowly and appear to be frozen, yet not take advantage of available processor?
Changing a view, tagging, and sometimes simply scrolling the files.
Much of this should not be an intensive load, yet the interface becomes unresponsive.
And if it was a significant load then why are most all my resources shown as available in Task Manager, with MC using only 1-4% CPU?
I have no issue with a workload taking time, except when I see no work being done.
edit: After several freeze-ups and forced closures, MC restarted in a responsive mood and is once again acting somewhat 'normal', reacting to changes in a reasonable fashion and actually using some of the available CPU as needed.
