Selecting Newest Podcast & Prioritizing iPod Sync
« on: June 02, 2008, 09:35:08 pm »

Ok, here's another one I'd like to start hacking away at...

I'd like to be able to select only the latest Podcast on any given feed. i.e. I wish to create a playlist that would give me all the most recent Podcasts from the selected feeds.

After that, I want to be able to prioritize things being synced to my iPod. i.e. I always want the latest podcasts that were created on the above smartlist, on my iPod. Following that, I might like another, particular playlist to always be synced.

Only after have those priority items have been added to the sync queue would I like to fill up the rest with another, random-fill-type playlist.

aside: The ~fill=[Apple iPod Video (I:)] function only seems to fill the space that is physically available on the ipod. Can I change it somehow or use something else so that it fills the rest of the queued space? i.e. already have 5 Gigs in the queue, the smartlist would stop at 30-5 Gigs?

Really starting to love this program!
