Ogg Vorbis plugin

I see there is a new Ogg Vorbis encoder plugin available, ver 2.0.58.
Is it worth downloading this to replace ver 2.0.40? What's the difference? Does it include VBR? Do I need to delete the current version before downloading?
I have an old PentiumII 300,running Win 98SE, Soundblaster Audigy outputting into a stereo amp.
Any help would be appreciated.

With MJ plug-ins, you can just click on the download button and they will download and install.  Nothing else to do.
