What would cause MJ not to store album art outside of the ID3 tag

MJ will store album art outside of the file:

- if you tell it to (by not checking "Store images inside files")
- if the format doesn't support internal images (WAV, etc.)
- if you disable ID3v2 tags for mp3's and you're trying to save the image inside an mp3

Does that help at all?

Thanks.

- I do have that option checked.
- It's a WMA file.
- I can't find where to set what version tag to use.

Don't Use Windows Media, I Know you Can Do This Setting In MP3 The More Common Format.

Are you using MJ 8.0.3xx?  If not, upgrade.

Do any WMA files work?  How about ones you created with MJ?

It'll be hard to tell if any of my WMAs have the image.  I have over 7,000 of them.  All but a couple were created by Windows XP's converter.  (Maybe I should just switch to MP3 format.)

Is there any programs that can copy the information from a WMA file to MP3 ID3?

I went through and converted some of my WMA files back to MP3.  Not directly, but essentially I've got MP3 in place of the WMAs I had.  I still can't save the cover art inside of the tag.  Help?

If I have chosen not to include the art file in the mp3, may I later decide to do so and how would a do this?

Thanks.
