acquiring license
« on: September 09, 2008, 11:39:30 am »

I hooked my external HD up to another computer last week and now back at my work computer, after a song plays for a while I get a "acquiring license" message and then the microsoft website pops up in 20 tabs telling me the file only allowed on so many computers.  Some of the files I have are old and some are new; it doesn't seem to matter which files I play, I'll still get the message.

Is there a solution or did I hook my HD up to too many computers?

They must be DRM protected files.  You'll have to get a license from the source.

If you unknowingly put DRM on your own ripped content, this link might help:
