« on: July 27, 2002, 07:25:36 am »

New CD Burner blows up with a disk cashe error if you select "options", "Rearrange CD Folders", "None" and the input is in more than one folder. The error occurs when proceeding from one folder to the next.

New CD Burner blows up with a disk cashe error...

When does it blow up, during the burn process? Do you get a warning about filename truncation (108 characters)? What is the exact error message you're getting? Also please post your system info (from the Help menu in MJ) and tell us whether "use generic driver" is checked on the cd writer settings page.

Thanks,

I also have this "cache error" in the middle of burning cds.  It's frustrating, but I found that using the generic driver works.
