Tagging
« on: September 25, 2008, 03:21:35 am »

Does anyone know of a tagging program that works outside of MC.

I convert movies to avi and when importing to MC through my network there are no tags.

I would like to be able to put them on before sending to MC.

Cheers

You can tag them in MC.

Yes Jim I know that but I convert the movies in another room then put them on my HTPC through the network.

Then I have to go and tag them on my HTPC.

I was hoping I could tag them before sending them to the HTPC.

Cheers

Is it possible to store tags in avi's and alike at all? My approach is to rename the movies properly, and to have the auto import running.
When they are added I just use a quick "find properties from filename" and I have one rule for my standard file naming of series as well as movies.
Have to do this in standard view offcourse, but it takes very little time. I would like the auto import to fill tags from filename it self, but this is my way untill that function is added.
