I'd like to be able to keep the database record of a fiile after I have deleted the disk instance.

I have achieved this via a workaround:
o First delete the file on disk
o then delete the contents of the Filename tag.

After import,  the database record still exists.

Can anyone think of potential side effects to this "method"?
