"number plays" field
« on: December 07, 2008, 03:16:15 am »

Hello,

In Tools > Option > Standard Library Fields, there is a field (tag) with the name "Number Plays"

When MJ12 plays an MP3 file, the field "Number plays" of the library is automatically updated.
Is it possible to update this tag of the MP3 file and find the "Number Plays" with Mp3tag? If yes, how?
Thank you in advance

Marc

and yes, still in broken English  :-[

Go to Tools > Options > Standard Library Fields > Number Plays

and check the box "Store in file tags (when possible)"

select all the files that you want updated and select Tools > Library Tools > Update Tags (from library)

It might take a long time to update all your files if you're updating a lot of files at once.

Thank you very much
It is so I do, but I did not notice that, for some tags, I have to check the box "Store in file tags (when possible).
I took the opportunity to control other tags that I use
Thank you very much for your answer very well explained
