Crossfade Increments!
« on: January 10, 2009, 02:16:23 pm »

Please help me undersdtand why, in MC12, I am able to incrimentally adjust audio file crossfade time in tenths of seconds within the Options "Audio Burning" window, but can no longer do this within the "playback" window. This basically negates any fine tuning of crossfades for CD burning because there is no way to preview how it will sound, unless you just stick with one second increments.  I know this is not a major league issue, but when I edited music in older versions in tandem with, let's say, a 14.5 second crossdade, in MC12 I now have to duplicate my efforts to make tracks fit properly.  Does the "Audio Burning" window crossfade selection ride herd over the "playback" crossfade times?  Am I missing something here?  Thanks for any insight!

This is the first time someone has requested finer than one-second granularity for the cross-fade duration for audio playback.

We'll keep this in mind for Media Center 13.
