Skin Splitter Arrows

I can't figure out are the splitter arrows skinnable?
Or is it just the skinning engine changing the colours to match the skin?
I've ringed the bits i'm talking about

i actually searched for that one a while back and found.... but had to search again.
under the main frame you find an entry called splitter...  :)
