I have some cds that are mis-tagged. the first half of the name is in the artist field, and the second half is in the name field, for example: artist: Concerto 1 (F
name: Sharp) Op.1- 1. Vivace

I know about the copy fields function, but that erases everything in the destination. Is there some way to merge the fields?

if you enter: =[artist][name] into the name field it will merge the two in the name field, and leave the artist field as it is.

if the information is contained in the file/folder names, consider using the 'fill properties from filename' field instead, it's a pretty intuitive tool, with one or two hidden tricks to boot, so if the info is there and you have any trouble using the tool to import the info, just ask, giving an example filename to work with.
