MC13 & MC14 concurrent operation?

Can MC13 and MC14 be run concurrently, and on the same database? 

In particular, will changes to the database made by either one be accepted by the other?

The library format has not changed yet, so Media Center 13 can use a Media Center 14 library. 

It's likely that this will not be true forever, but the history for Media Center 14 will clearly note when the database version is incremented.
